There are so many indulgent and exciting things to see, do and experience during your time at Vilamendhoo, whether you are in the mood for a soothing pampering, an island-hopping excursion, or delving into the sparkling blue waters to admire the wonders of the island's house reef.

The resort's Duniye Spa is the perfect place to go for the former; this blissful sanctuary features a menu of delightful treatments and therapies that will relax and refresh you from top to toe. These include specific couples' options such as the captivating Full Moon Magic ritual, which incorporates a Balinese massage, body polish and champagne and fresh fruit at the conclusion. The menu also boasts an array of 'Massages of the World' not to mention facials, body contouring, hair masks and more.

Once you are feeling all relaxed and refreshed, it is time to venture out into the bright tropical sunshine and try some of the more active pursuits available to you. These include snorkelling and scuba diving, which help you get up close and personal to the diverse marine life inhabiting the island's house reef and other local dive spots. PADI courses and day and night dives are on offer, so divers of all capabilities are catered for.

A great deal of fun can also be had on the surface, thanks to the resort's selection of exhilarating water sports. Among them are windsurfing, kayaking and catamaran sailing.

Land sports are available too, ranging from volleyball, badminton, petanque, billiards, football and swimming in the resort's main pool. A children's pool is also on hand for younger guests.

Restaurants

Wining and dining at Vilamendhoo is provided courtesy of the resort's buffet and a la carte restaurants, and three bars. A special, romantic Dinner on the Beach can also be arranged, on the sand in front of your room; you can also opt for an intimate meal on the terrace of your villa.

Buffet Restaurant

The resort's buffet restaurant is its main eatery, where you can come three times a day for resplendent 'all you can eat' meals consisting of a wide variety of both regional and international options. Each buffet spread features live cooking stations, a range of fresh tropical fruits, and various soups, breads and tempting desserts. Friday night is Maldives night, showcasing local delicacies, while Sunday's breakfast includes free sparkling wine.
Asian Wok Restaurant

Open for bar service and for dinner, this spectacular over-water venue is the perfect option for a romantic meal consisting of authentic Asian fare and teppanyaki. The menu includes epicurean treats such as Japanese yakisoba, Chinese chow mein, Thai prawn and lobster curries, and lavish Chinese fondue spreads.
Hot Rock Restaurant

This adults-only eatery is located on the resort's Sunset Bar beach. Named for the style of cooking, on hot rocks at your table, the menu features succulent exotic game, fresh seafood, chicken and steak dishes guaranteed to make your mouth water.
