Bianca explores the most luxurious hotels in Dubai
Dubai continues to be one of the most booked cities among honeymooners, due to its great connection to the Maldives and the endless list of things to do while you’re there. That’s why is can sometimes be a little overwhelming to choose the perfect hotel in the perfect location, with the perfect amenities for a whirlwind romantic honeymoon specialist Bianca spent a week exploring the most luxurious hotels in Dubai to help you decide when planning your Dubai honeymoon.
One&Only Royal Mirage, Arabian Court – Arabian Court Deluxe Room
I was amazed by this hotel, One&Only Royal Mirage – I recommend it to every honeymoon couple who is seeking a tranquil feel along with an amazing beach and a beautiful room. When I walked into my room I was absolutely speechless, the Arabian décor is perfect to me I love the traditional feel of these rooms along with the luxury combined. They hand write a letter to you thanking you for your stay which I really feel is attention to detail, the thought and effort is such a nice feeling and you don’t feel like “one of many” which for clients on honeymoon is a perfect feel. This hotel doesn’t have a great lot going on so if you are hoping to stay in the hotel I wouldn’t recommend this one. If you are happy to relax during the day or perhaps head to Dubai Mall for some shopping or even indulge in the Spa, this hotel is more likely going to tick your boxes.
Atlantis The Palm – Deluxe Room
“I wasn’t overly “WOW’d” by the room when I first checked in at 3AM!! It was very spacious though and I felt like I had more than enough room to place my case etc, definitely OK for two people. The Bathroom was my favourite part, it had a bath tub which had open doors, which opened to give you a view of the bedroom. The toilet was in a separate cubicle as was the shower which was amazing… waterfall showers are my favourite. I think the décor in the room wasn’t the best and when comparing to other hotels in Dubai it definitely didn’t stand out to me, I didn’t feel the level of luxury in the room that I felt in others. The whole of Atlantis was amazing, I would go back tomorrow, if I could – it is perfect for those who perhaps have been to Dubai before and want the chill and adventure all under one roof.”
“The highlight of this hotel for me was the water park, I absolutely loved it. If you are a real adrenaline junkie it is perfect. We had a private cabana with butler service which really topped it off for me, after a mad few hours on the slides I headed back to the sun loungers and enjoyed a bite to eat and refreshing drink. I must say, the lazy river is not lazy… if you take the wrong turn!! (not like you have much choice with the current taking you that way anyway).”
Jebel Ali Beach Hotel
Jebel Ali Beach Hotel is quite far out, but perfect for those seeking a beach break on all inclusive, the hotel seems to be a little dated compared to its sister hotel (JA Palm Tree Court). The hotel offers horse riding, mini golf, tennis and floating water sports centre. The Jebel Ali side is perfect for families but for couples I would really recommend The Palm Tree court which offers a much more luxurious and a little more of a quieter feeling with an awesome swim up bar.. something which is not seen much in the Maldives!!
One&Only The Palm
One&Only The Palm is out of this world, for clients seeking pure relaxation this is the option for you. The rooms are decorated with traditional Arabic designs and are very luxurious. It has its own private beach which I feel is so nice for honeymooners. It’s very quiet in and around the hotel with not much going on at all. You can take the complimentary boat over to One&Only Royal Mirage which has a little more to do if you feel adventurous.
Jumeirah Beach Hotel
Jumeirah Beach Hotel is very family friendly, with a water park on site, it is perfect for adrenaline junkies. It has the best views of the Burj Al Arab and some amazing villas which offer their own pool along with views of the Burj. It is quite a big hotel and definitely feels big when you are in there, I felt like it was very busy during dinner times but the service and food did not lack. The rooms are a little dated but they are all very spacious and offer some amazing views. It has its own beach which can be reached within minutes so it’s perfect for guests who don’t really want to leave the hotel.
