Masai Mara National Reserve
Masai Mara National reserve is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves with 1,672 sq. kilometres of natural land and wilderness. The Masai Mara reserve has one of the best bird-viewing spots in Africa; the reserve is landscaped with golden grassland, acacia trees, rivers and forests, giving you unexpected encounters and variety to see. The best time of year to visit is between July and October, the months between December and February are good times to see big cats and the weather is also dryer in this season.
Great Rift Valley
The Great Rift Valley is a geological fault-line, which stretches across six thousand kilometres in length. This amazing span of land offers a panorama of volcanoes, lush greenery with a backdrop of hills and mountains. Lake Victoria
John Hanning Speke, who was the first person to document the lake, named Lake Victoria after Queen Victoria. Romantic boat rides on the lake will have you exploring the many tropical species of birds, fish eagles, kingfishers, pelicans and otters. Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park is home to 114 reptiles, 507 bird and 147 mammals, making this one of the largest game reserves in South Africa. Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti National Park is a starting point for the great migration, from the months of November to May thousands of wildebeest and zebra congregate and towards the end of May the land becomes dry.
