Overview

This beautiful contemporary seafront resort situated near Hersonissos is perfect with stylish minimalistic accommodation that offers seclusion, privacy plus leisurely and memorable moments in Crete. Room Types

This resort features fourteen different room types offering contemporarily open styled comfort. They are decorated and furnished in white with contrasting light wood – and local artefacts and driftwood sculptures. There are comfortable armchairs, a flat screen TV, CD and DVD plus tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The king size bed (pillow menu available) has a dramatic white filigree headboard and the stylish bath tub is in the room. Bath robes and slippers with toiletries are provided. Individual climate control and Wi-Fi are provided. Outside through large sliding windows, there is a glass fronted balcony with wooden decking, table, chairs and comfortable sofa for wonderfully lazy moments. Some of the rooms have a private pool and these are marble lined and filled with sea water.

with a private balcony which is perfect for outdoor living as it has table and chairs for al fresco eating and drinks and a relaxing sofa.

This attractive room maximises on the beautiful vista of the sea (in Greek thalassa) which can be enjoyed from the spacious balcony. Inside, there is the chance to relax in a big comfortable armchair or on the king size bed. The stylish bath tub stands close by and is perfect for a leisurely soak.

Encouraging you to simply relax, this room has a beautiful glass fronted balcony with decking. There is a sofa, table and chairs and lovely jacuzzi to enjoy together. Inside, there is the open plan room with comfortable chairs, king size bed and stylish bath tub – all in hues of white that contrast with the azure waters of the Mediterranean outside.
Loft deluxe Sea view

Stylish and beautiful with a 180º view of the azure waters of the Mediterranean from its furnished balcony, this is a truly romantic hideaway! Inside, there is the bedroom with king size bed and open plan bathroom with bath tub and stylish marble topped wash stand. A black and white tiled staircase leads up to the mezzanine where there is a comfortable living area with armchair and sofa. The black and white of the tiles is highlighted by scatter cushions on the bed which has a huge and ornate white carved headboard.

Spacious, fresh and contemporarily styled, this guest room has a lovely private terrace with direct access into the shared pool. On the terrace, right by the water there are two of the most comfortable sunbeds ever – just waiting for you! There is a sofa and table and chairs for perfect outdoor living. Inside there is a king size bed with beautiful white carved headboard, comfortable chairs and a stylish bath tub and wash basin in a stylish open plan design.
Abaton Collection Suite with Private Outdoor Jacuzzi

Situated at the highest part of the resort, this dual level suite is very stylish. Inside, there is a spacious living area, with black and white tiled steps that lead up to the bedroom with a king size bed. Out of the suite through the sliding doors, there is a lovely terrace with table, chairs and sun beds and just beyond, there is a beautiful jacuzzi that is nice and private because there are attractive stone walls on either side.

Spacious and intimate this chic room has a comfortable open plan living area, bathroom area with free standing bath tub and a king size bed. Outside there is the furnished terrace with sofa, table and chairs. This room type is available with a private pool. This is located right in front of the coast and the secluded infinity pool overlooks the coast.

This beautiful split level suite, has a stylish bedroom with king size bed on the first level and spacious living area on the ground level. Step outside through the sliding glass windows onto the spacious terrace and to the steps which give direct access into the shared pool.

Dream Villa Beachfront with Private Pool

Situated in a prime, beachfront location, this stylish two storey villa offers the perfect blend of peace, relaxation and seclusion. Inside is spacious with 240m² of floor area. There is a lovely open plan living area with the bedroom upstairs and with a king size bed. Outside there is a large spacious terrace that is secluded because of its rustic stone walls. There is a table and chairs, sofa and two soft, comfortable sun loungers and a truly beautiful private pool to enjoy both during the day and evening.
The Royal Villa

This two-storey, 2 - bedroom accommodation with a prime seafront location comes with a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining space, 420 m² garden area with a 40 m² heated private pool, furnished seating area, en-suite gym, infrared sauna, and a walk-in closet. Ideal for honeymooners or couples looking for a bit of special R&R.

Facilities

This resort is just so idyllic that most guests spend almost all their time in the resort apart from catching the bus just outside the hotel to explore the capital town of Heraklion. The Resort has a beautiful marble lined outdoor pool with large sun deck with sun loungers and parasols.

The world Class Elemis Spa is stunningly beautiful and the treatments available are perfect for relieving stress and evoking a deep relaxation.

There are five stylish but very different restaurants to enjoy at Abaton Island Resort and the ultra stylish black and white Ladies & Gentleman Lobby Bar. There are plenty of vegetarian options and for those seeking total privacy, in room dining is available.

F-Zin Ivy League Restaurant

This main restaurant with its open kitchen is open all day through and offers international cuisine with a Cretan twist as well as some traditional Hellenic delights. With its own bakery, this restaurant is always extremely popular at breakfast time.
Bony Fish SeaFood Restaurant

Overlooking the sea and just a large terrace with wooden tables, chairs and a shady roof, this is the perfect place to enjoy really good fresh fish and absolutely outstanding classic dishes from the Aegean.
WOW Steak

This WOW steak restaurant serves hand crafted sushi and perfectly cooked succulent steaks and it does both really well using only the finest ingredients.
Elemes Cretan Cuisine

Cretan cuisine is known to be one of the healthiest diets in the world and it is certainly one of the most delicious. The Chefs use the best fresh seasonal produce grown by local farmers to produce a galaxy of tasty dishes.
