Room Types

Baros Maldives offers a variety of luxurious villas for a truly indulgent stay. With a total of 75 elegantly designed villas, each with its own unique charm and features, guests can choose from a range of accommodation options to suit their preferences. The resort offers 45 over-water villas, allowing guests to experience the ultimate luxury of staying above the crystal-clear turquoise waters. For those who prefer to be closer to the beach, there are 30 beachfront villas available, offering direct access to the white-sand shores. Each villa is thoughtfully designed to provide privacy and comfort, featuring palm-thatched roofs and modern amenities.

Baros Pool Villas

The 134 sq m Baros pool villas set directly on the beach feature a private infinity-edged plunge pool, and a dedicated villa host available 24/7. This villa combines the luxury of the beach, lagoon and a plunge pool.
Baros Villas

The 103 sq m Baros villas offers guests direct access to the beach and a wooden sundeck for lounging and relaxing close to the lagoon. This villa is a fusion of seclusion and romance creating the perfect setting for a honeymoon.
Deluxe Beach Villas

The 89 sq m deluxe beach villas are placed a few feet away from the waters edge, giving guests access to the sparkling waters of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy an open-air bathtub nestled on a patio with tropical flora surroundings to send you into relaxation on your honeymoon. The interiors are furnished with dark wooden flooring and Maldivian textures and hues.
Water Villas

To experience a different honeymoon, the Baros offer traditional 92 sq m Maldivian water villas. Situated a short stroll from the beach and reached by a short jetty, this villa offers endless views of the sparkling Indian Ocean and the endless horizon. These intimate villas each have their own set of stairs offering direct access to the lagoon.
Water Pool Villas

With 126 square meter of space, the water pool villas offer a tropical sanctuary for your honeymoon; set along the end of the jetty allows incredible panoramic views of the horizon. Enjoy privacy on the spacious private deck with a private plunge pool and furnished comforts to enjoy uninterrupted views of the sunsets and sunrises.
Baros Suites

The Baros Suites, features a private pool and a spacious 200sqm of classic design. Surrounded by a secluded tropical glade, these beautiful suites offer luxurious amenities including a hot and cold Jacuzzi, direct beach access, and a partially open-air bathroom with a tropical garden. Relax in the exclusive lounge or unwind in the thatched gazebo with a swinging sofa and breath-taking horizon views.
Baros Residence

Baros Residence is a luxurious sanctuary boasting a private pool and a generous 270sqm of space. With your very own stretch of Baros beach and a shaded timber deck, you can unwind in complete privacy. The intimate haven features a separate bedroom and living room, an expansive bathroom with designer toiletries, an indoor shower, a deep free-standing tub, and an outdoor shower surrounded by lush palms. Baros Maldives is also home to two remarkable centres that allow you to explore the surrounding underwater realm: these are the Marine Centre, which offers snorkeling and environmental awareness programmes, and the Dive Centre. As well as the resort’s vibrant house reef there are 30 outstanding dive spots all located within 50-minutes of the hotel and now you have the chance to experience them.

Restaurants

The Baros Resort offers guests a magnificent choice and drink and dining options. The delectable cuisine is among some of the best in the world. Three restaurants and two bars offer to cook whatever guests choose.

Lime restaurant

The rustic but elegant Lime Restaurant is an enchanting all-day dining venue located beside the lagoon. Here you can come for a lavish breakfast buffet, as well as tasty family favourites throughout the day, and then finish off with a romantic dinner enjoyed while gazing out over the water. Poolside snacks and beverages are also available here.
Cayenne Grill

For relaxed dining in palm thatched gazebos poised over the lagoon, head to Cayenne Grill. Sample delicious offerings fresh from the wood-fired pizza oven, enjoy a light lunch of wraps and Panini, or indulge in a platter of succulent grilled fare featuring prime cuts of meat or freshly caught seafood.
The Lighthouse Restaurant

The resorts fine dining option, The Lighthouse is the hallmark of Baros Maldives. This design of the restaurant is truly an experience in itself, the overwater pavilion placed on the end of a wooden jetty overs endless views of the Indian Ocean. Looking out onto the ocean, marine life can be seen swimming below while guests enjoy good food and fine wine. The delectable gourmet menu is just as appealing, featuring such tantalising dishes as Asian Spice Grilled Mahi Mahi Fillets, Pan Seared Bultara Saltbush Lamb Cutlets and Baked Vegetable Strudel. Pair your meal with a recommended vintage selected from the restaurant’s glass-walled walk-in wine cellar.
Sails Bar

Situated in the resort’s Palm Garden, surrounded by these graceful tropical trees, you will find Sails Bar. With its daybeds, hammocks and open-sided cocktail bar, this is the ideal venue for a tasty high tea, a relaxed drink or some aperitifs before dinner. Live music twice a week completes the delightful experience of relaxing at this barefoot bar on the sand.
Lighthouse Lounge

Located in a picturesque gallery above the restaurant, this sophisticated lounge is the perfect place to unwind with a sundowner cocktail, a glass of champagne or fine wine, and some delicious canapés.
