Room Types

Chiva Som has 54 rooms that have each been carefully designed to enhance the feeling of wellness. Each spacious room and suite is coloured in soft relaxing tones with beautifully comfortable items of furniture and a real sense of privacy. Each has a beautiful bedroom area with king size bed, a living and dining area, mini pantry and two bathrooms.

Bathroom amenities, mattresses, pillows and perfumes in oil burners can all be personalised as comfort is the essential element. Guests are encouraged to enjoy a 'digital detox' and mobile phones, Ipads and Kindles may only be used in the guest's private accommodation or library.

Lee Lawadee suite

This is such a special suite and is the largest and most comfortable with beautiful wooden floors throughout. There is a sumptuous bedroom and two dressing areas and there are two bathrooms for his and hers. There is a spacious living area and a separate kitchen with a pantry. Outside there is an attractive private terrace with sun beds, a Jacuzzi and a lush garden. This beautiful suite includes a morning time ritual, oil burner, personal journal and water flask.
Golden Bo

With a wonderful combination of Thai silk, teak, bamboo that creates a restful ambience, this beautiful accommodation has a large sitting room and dining room which lead out onto the private terrace with sun loungers and just a short distance to private steps down into the pool. Upstairs there is an attractive sun terrace with day beds which offers spectacular views of the sun rise.
Champaka Suite

Exquisitely designed, this beautiful suite has wooden floors, a separate living room, bathroom and bedroom with a king size bed. Outside there is an extended terrace with magnificent views of the Bay of Thailand.
Jasmine Suite

This suite has an extra long terrace that can be accessed from both the living area and the bedroom and has stunning views of the ocean. Inside, there is a spacious and comfortable living area, bedroom area and bathrooms. Outside on the terrace, there are chairs and a table for relaxing.
Patchouli Suite

Inside this tranquil suite there is a king size bed, comfortable living area and twin bathrooms, whilst outside there is a generous terrace overlooking the ocean.
Juniper Suite

Situated on the top floor, this stylish suite has a large living area with comfortable sofa and occasional tables, a king size bed and elegant bathrooms. Outside there are wonderful views of the Bay of Thailand from the terrace.
Thai Pavilion

In authentic Thai style, this beautiful room perfectly captures the essence of Thailand both with its architectural features and interior design. Outside there is a spacious shared terrace and sala sitting area.
Anchan Room

With restful interior decoration and a spacious living area and separate bedroom area and bathroom, this room is the perfect place to relax and share special moments.
Ocean Premium Room

This style of room is the most spacious of the ocean side rooms and has a comfortable king size bed, living area and separate bathroom. Outside there is a large terrace with sun loungers.
Ocean Deluxe Room

Defined by its blissful character and spacious proportions, the Ocean deluxe room is like a suite featuring an ocean-facing terrace including a separate bathroom with toilet and a separate dressing room.
Ocean Room

This Ocean room is ideal for honeymooners or couples as it offers peace and serenity. Offering a terrace overlooking the pool and views of either the crystalline Gulf of Thailand or the resort’s lush landscape. It also has a comfortable king size bed with a bathroom and a separate dressing room. Its the perfect place for a private relaxation after a long day out.

Facilities

The focus of a holiday at Chiva Som is health and wellness and there is a good selection of treatments available including stress management, pain management, physical fitness, detox, emotional and mental balance. There are activities and therapies each day and these are supervised throughout by highly trained members of staff who are keen that everyone gets the most out of their treatment. Chiva Som stands in seven acres of land and everyone is encouraged to enjoy walking in the grounds as they move from one activity to the next. There is plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy free time together too.

There are wonderful facilities at Chiva Som for those who want to relax and recharge their batteries through exercise. There is a really well equipped gym with cardio machines, there is a dance studio, Pilates studio and Kinesis studio. Focusing on wellness cuisine, the restaurants advise that good food is good life and that good nutrition is the foundation of good health. The hotel has its own organic gardens where fruit, vegetables and herbs are grown and harvested each day by the award winning Chefs.
