The accommodation is comfortable and impressive as doors lead out onto the private terrace which has the most spectacular view of the crescent of the caldera and the shimmering Aegean sea – sheer romance.

Suite room

What a beautiful suite – really spacious with traditional architecture and modern comforts covering a floor area of 40m². There are two rooms, the bedroom with double bed and separate bathroom with shower and bath and the living room with comfortable chairs and table. Outside on the balcony, there are comfortable chairs and a table for relaxing and enjoying a drink or a meal with the most romantic panorama – especially at night with the starlit sky and twinkling lights on the fishing boats.

Facilities

Cliff Side Suites has an unbelievable infinity pool as it dramatically overlooks the caldera and Aegean sea. There is a terrace too with sun loungers and a poolside bar ideal for refreshing cool drinks and snacks by day and romantic cocktails for two as the sun begins to sink in the sky.

There is the beautiful Lotus Spa – the largest on the island which has an indoor pool and comfortable loungers and a selection of treatments that are perfect for evoking total relaxation. There is a free transfer between Cliff Side Suites and the Spa.

Restaurants

Although Cliff Side Suites does serve breakfast on the attractive pool terrace, it does not have a restaurant. There are plenty of shops, cafés and tavernas (restaurants) within a short walking distance. Greek food is very tasty and very seasonal as Chefs use only fresh vegetables and herbs.

A definite ‘must’ is to try the Mezé (Mezédhes) which is a selection of more than 20 taster dishes of dips, vegetables specialities, fish, grilled meat and casseroles. The Mezé should not be rushed but should last a whole evening and be enjoyed with a glass or two of the island’s wine.
