From the moment you arrive on the island’s grassy air strip you are given the royal treatment, personally welcomed by the Island Manager and transported to Reception where cold beverages and cool citronella-scented towels are handed out to remove the last traces of your tiring journey. Beach Front Cottage Spa

Opt for a Beach Front Cottage Spa and relax in these capacious 150sqm accommodations, which feature your very private sala, a veranda with lounge chairs and open-air bathroom which feeds onto a charming enclosed courtyard. There is also a massage and wellness zone, sun loungers on the sand, a spacious living area and a selection of other amenities including a wine chiller!
Beach Villa

An even more lavish option is the 325sqm Beach Villa. These come with a spacious outdoor courtyard with twin showers, your own private plunge pool and a barbecue area, as well as a wide range of other luxury extras.
Deluxe Beach Cottages

The spacious Deluxe Beach Cottages measure 110 square meters and face the beautiful Indian Ocean. Step out onto the open terrace that leads to the private garden and onto the beach with sun loungers and daybed. The interior features a king size bed, living area, iPod docking system, tea and coffee making facilities,, mini fridge, wine chiller and an open air bathroom that opens out onto the private courtyard.
Beach Cottage

Situated directly on the beachfront, the beach cottages are a splendid retreat offering a spacious bedroom with a living area. Enjoy a private garden area with an open-air bathroom. Capture daily views of the Indian Ocean from the terrace on the cosy sun loungers.

Facilities

After dinner or during the lazy late afternoons you can take advantage of the fully-stocked bar to enjoy a quiet drink with your loved one or mingle with the other guests.
The island resort is also home to a pristine swimming pool, lush tropical gardens and a library where you can curl up with a novel or play a few leisurely board games with your partner.
While the pace of life on Denis Private Island is decidedly relaxed and unhurried, you can still indulge in plenty of outdoor activities and leisure pursuits. From tennis to canoeing, the island has it all. Take advantage of the resort’s small dive centre to learn how to scuba dive and get up close and personal with the colourful marine life, or stay on dry land and enjoy a nature tour or bird feeding session. You can even visit the resident giant tortoise colony, attend a craft workshop or two, or just enjoy a jog around the island.

Restaurants

Dining on Denis Private Island is always a delightful affair, whether you are waking up to a lavish breakfast in bed, savouring a light and healthy lunch on the terrace or tucking into a seafood barbecue on the beach. Five course dinners on the pool deck or in the dining room are also available and there are live cooking stations featuring dishes prepared from locally sourced ingredients.
