Room Types

Elandela’s two exclusive lodges — Elandela Lake View Lodge and Elandela River View Lodge —offer a combined seven different room types, ideal for safari honeymoon packages. Choose which romantic watering hole dwelling suits you best and enjoy free Wi-Fi, a twice daily housekeeping service, bath amenities, insect repellent, backup electricity, a safe, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a minibar and tea/coffee facilities.

The Elandela Lake View Lodges are perfect for couples and honeymooners. Whereas the Elandela River View Lodge and its rooms are child-friendly, which is ideal for ‘familymooners’.

Standard Suite (Elandela Lake View Lodge)

Just for two, these cosy rooms offer a generous 36 sq m of space, and provide either a king-size or twin beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower and lake/mountain views.
Deluxe Suite (Elandela Lake View Lodge)

These stylish, 42 sq m rooms are a great pick for newlyweds, thanks to romantic features including a four-poster queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower.
Honeymoon Suite (Elandela Lake View Lodge)

Created with honeymooners in mind, these suites are 80 sq m, and offer plenty of space, as well as an extra-length, four-poster king-size bed. Other amenities include a private patio with sun beds and a lake view, an outdoor shower, an indoor shower and a double spa bath.
Standard Suite (Elandela River View Lodge)

Couples can enjoy the comfort of a queen-size bed from these 36 sq m rooms. In-room amenities include an en-suite bathroom with a shower and stylish decor.
Deluxe Suite (Elandela River View Lodge)

Three people can stay in these 42 sq m suites, which feature either a four-poster queen-size bed, twin beds, or a queen plus a single. You’ll also benefit from an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
Family Suite (Elandela River View Lodge)

There’s plenty of room for three in these 50 sq m suites, which showcase an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and different bed combinations featuring king-size and single options.
Inter-leading (Elandela River View Lodge)

An area of 80 sq m is all yours to enjoy, including a four-poster queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, and an inter-leading bedroom featuring three singles and a second en-suite bathroom. Sleeps five.

Facilities

Your safari honeymoon in South Africa will be studded with special touches. At Elandela, you can pick and choose from exclusive offers, including the chance to book four nights and get your last night free. Packages for stays include three meals per day, two bottles of mineral water or orange juice per day, coffee and tea, two game drives each day — one in the morning and another in the afternoon — for optimal animal viewing, and airport transfers.

On one day of your stay, you’ll visit the nearby Kruger National Park to spot yet more exciting wildlife in breathtaking natural habitats, with air-conditioned transport, a professional and English-speaking guide, entrance fee and a picnic breakfast included, subject to change. You can also choose to book one or two night stays, which feature slightly different itineraries.

Make your honeymoon extra special by booking additional activities, such as bush walks, night drives, romantic and private sundown or sunrise safaris, boat trips, and tours of Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre and the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre.

Restaurants

Three meals a day are included in your stay at Elandela Private Game Reserve, where you’ll enjoy everything from picnics to fine dining. You’ll sample tasty, fresh food, including full English breakfasts, light lunches and formal dinners, as well as tea, coffee, water and juice.
