Overview

Unforgettable moments are created at Eolo Lodge, from breakfast watching the sunrise over the glorious landscape then off to Pento Moreno glacier either for a boat trip along its front wall or trekking over the ice wearing crampons. After lunch, grab some mountain bikes to explore the locality before an intimate dinner watching the sun set.

Room Types

Each of the rooms at Eolo Lodge makes the most of the stunning scenery. The rooms are built around a lovely central garden. Each is spacious with carpets and colourful rugs and muted tones, but individually furnished with antique furniture and paintings. The large picture windows dominate each room and there are two comfortable armchairs and a coffee table, right in front to encourage you to sit and relax. There is a comfortable king size bed and a writing desk – but no television. There is an elegant bathroom with bathtub and gowns are provided. There is individual climate control in each room and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Superior Room

This beautiful room overlooks the steppes, lake or cordillera and is very comfortable as it is 38 m². There are beautiful pieces of dark wood furniture including two lovely armchairs for relaxing and soaking up the view.
Premium Room

There are just three of these lovely rooms measuring 48m² and each is slightly different. There is a huge picture window with wonderful views of the scenery and a second window in the bathroom that overlooks the hotel garden.
Corner Room

This beautiful room is totally dominated by the amazing views from the two picture windows that change from morning to evening with the varying skyscapes. This is the highest category of room and there are just two, so as it is your honeymoon, this room is definitely the one for you both! As well as a living area in front of the windows, there is a lovely king size bed that also has a wonderful view. The elegant en suite has a relaxing bathtub.

Facilities

The fabulous location is perfect for those who want honeymoon memories of horse riding, mountain biking and trekking. There is a great range of daily activities to choose from and many are escorted by the hotel's knowledgeable guides. El Chaltén – the trekking capital of the area is just three kilometers away and Upsala, the largest glacier is 30 minutes away and Perito Moreno, 50 minutes. Eolo Lodge is situated halfway between the city of El Calafate and Los Glacieres National Park.

If you want to enjoy some down time together, the hotel has a lovely spa for relaxation and an attractive indoor pool. The cosy bar is ideal for relaxing moments together too.

Restaurants

Eolo Lodge is in such a lovely natural setting, that it will not surprise you to learn that its restaurant is truly beautiful. Decorated in dark brown, with a high-pitched roof and huge picture windows, the restaurant has polished wood floors and beautifully dressed tables with crisp white linen and glasses that twinkle in the light from the chandeliers.

Guests enjoy breakfast as the sun rises, lunch and afternoon tea, enjoying the views and dinner with a change in tempo as darkness falls. The menu features international cuisine, prepared with the finest local ingredients by the Chef who is proud of the area’s history and heritage. To complement his dishes that are so beautifully presented, there is a comprehensive selection of Argentinian wines.
