Fairmont San Francisco is an iconic hotel in the upmarket Nob Hill district, which has been welcoming American Presidents, world leaders and stars of sport, stage and screen since 1907. Room Types

There are 606 guest rooms and 62 suites at the Fairmont San Francisco and all have recently been fully refurbished. They are situated either in the seven floor main building or in the Tower. Beautifully decorated in shades of coffee and cream or blue and white and carpeted throughout and have photographs of the city decorating the walls. The rooms are spacious and elegant with a comfortable sitting area, flat screen TV, writing desk and coffee maker, tea making facilities and refreshment centre for relaxing moments. The views from the picture windows are impressive. The stylish bathrooms have an oversized marble bath and separate walk-in shower and amenities and gowns are provided. The rooms are fitted with a personal safe and have TDD/TTY access for those with hearing difficulties

Fairmont Queen Room

With views over the hotel courtyard, this 30 sq m room is situated on floors two-six of the main building. This relaxing room has comfortable armchairs in the living area and a beautiful queen size bed as well as a lovely bathroom.
Fairmont Exterior Room

This attractive room (39 sq m) is situated on floors two-six of the hotel's main building. The room is particularly stylish as it has high vaulted ceilings and picture windows with views over Nobs Hill and the city. There is a generous living area with armchairs and beautiful king size bed.
Deluxe Room

Situated in the more contemporarily styled Tower Building, this lovely room (34 sq m) has striking views of the skyline to enjoy through its picture windows. With a generous living area and king size bed, the elegant bathroom has a marble bath and glass encased walk-in shower.
Signature Room

Situated in the Tower building, this beautiful room (34 sq m) has stunning views of San Francisco Bay from Alcatraz to Colt Tower. There is a spacious living area, king size bed and elegant en suite with marble bath and separate glass enclosed shower.
Signature Golden Gate Suite

Situated on the corners of the Tower building and with double aspect windows, these lovely suites (59 sq m) have stunning views of San Francisco and the bay plus the Golden Gate Bridge. To maximize on this, each sitting room has a telescope as well as a comfortable sofa and armchairs and a BOSE sound system. The bedroom is accessed through double doors and has a comfortable king size bed. The bathroom has an oversized marble bathtub and separate walk-in shower.
Tower Suite

With breathtaking views of San Francisco from the large picture windows and a telescope in the sitting room ready for viewing the city, this stylish suite (69 sq m) is very comfortable. In the living room there is a sofa and armchairs plus a separate dining area. There is a king size bed in the separate bedroom and the elegant en suite has both a bath and separate shower.
Main building balcony suite

With a beautiful balcony with filigree balustrade, this attractive suite (70 sq m) is perfect for simply enjoying the stunning views of San Francisco and the bay. The balcony has a table and softly upholstered chairs and French windows lead into the sitting room with sofa, armchairs and separate dining area. The bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and the en suite has both marble bath and separate walk-in shower. This room type is also available as a Main building suite without a private balcony.
Junior Suite

Situated on the top floor (7th floor) of the main building. These suites offer really spacious living as they range in size from 42-51 sq m. They have a comfortable living area with sofa and armchairs and are light and bright but without a particularly special view. The suites are open plan so there is a bedroom area with king size bed and attractive en suite with marble bath and separate shower.

Facilities

The iconic Fairmont San Francisco offers some of the best facilities especially as it is situated at the only point where all the cable cars go downtown to meet. There are a variety of itineraries available from the hotel for those who want to explore the city and such landmarks as Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf.

When you have enjoyed a day out and are looking forward to some down time in the hotel, there is the Live Fit Gym and the hotel's gorgeous wellness spa. If you fancy trying some retail therapy at a completely new level, the hotel has a style expert who can shop for you in a very personalized way.

Restaurants

The restaurants at the hotel are stylish and comfortable with excellent service provided by staff. Some years ago, nine beehives were installed on the roof and a number of dishes have the honey hive as a key ingredient. The hotel's honey beer is also available in its bars.
