Browse the menu and select from entrées such as crêpes with mushrooms and truffle-scented sauce with brie cheese or cuisses de grenouilles, fresh Zitacuaro frog legs in a brown butter, citrus garlic and parsley sauce. Move on to the likes of risotto de coquilles St Jacques and saumon épinards sauté et sauce romarin. Finish up with a delicious crème brûlée or tart au chocolat.
Chiringuito

Enjoy an authentic taste of Spain at Chiringuito. Try Galician-style octopus, for example, which is steamed and served with potatoes, olive oil, sea salt and spicy Spanish pimenton. Indulge in a seafood paella: rice prepared with garlic, onion, tomato, mussels, clams, calamari, scallops, shrimp, artichokes, green peas, green beans and bell peppers. Finish your meal with leche frita, a Spanish fried custard, which is powdered with sugar and cinnamon and accompanied with chocolate chips-saffron ice cream.
Gong

Imagine yourself far from the silver shores of Mexico and in the Far East for an hour or two. At Gong you can experience some of the finest Asian dishes. Order Peking duck, for example, or delicacies such as lobster rolls, tempura ice cream and even dessert sushi. Try shabu shabu, a light broth, which is scented with kombu seaweed and that you cook yourself at the table, with various fresh ingredients of your choice.
Nektar

Head to Nektar to experience the very best in local flavours. This restaurant brings together a menu featuring the finest Yucatán cuisine from the region and also offers a fabulous cocktail selection, with some exciting and flavoursome delights. Situated beside the Cirque du Soleil Theatre, it is the perfect place to dine before or after taking in a show. Try the cochinita pibil while you are here: this is a slow-roasted pork dish with citrus flavours.
Quinto

Dine at Quinto for a refined setting and a superb ambience. Enjoy the magnificent views out across Riviera Maya from the unique, circular, two-storey restaurant. Choose from a turf, surf and sky menu featuring prime cuts and mouth-watering dishes all fired in the establishment’s charcoal oven. Try the porterhouse T-bone, for example, a high quality cut, which is grilled to perfection, or the grilled Maya octopus, which exudes flavour and is served with olive oil and sea salt from Celestún.

Pure burger pleasure is to be found at this superb outdoor restaurant, which serves the very best of America’s favourite dish – but with a few exciting twists. Challenge yourself to bite into a high quality burger with a difference. Order the kobe beef burger with foie gras, truffle mushrooms purée, confit onions and peppers, madeira sauce on rustic bread, for example, or the special Angus beef homemade burger, served with sauté mushrooms, swiss cheese, and bacon on brioche bun.
Tramonto

For a taste of top quality Italian cuisine and fine steak, immerse yourself in Tramonto. Start with carpaccio di marlin: fresh marlin filet sliced and marinated with basil vinaigrette, arugula leaves and crispy leeks, garnished with kalamata olives and pickles. Move on to saltimbocca alla romana, a sautéed veal escalope wrapped with prosciutto ham and served with tomato sauce and marsala veal reduction; finish with Italy’s favourite, tiramisu, whipped up from mascarpone cream, hazelnut nibs and coffee liquor biscuit.
Balché

Sit down to a quick snack or light lunch at Balché, named after the ancient Mayan people’s sacred drink. Enjoy the fresh air and lush green surroundings over sandwiches, hot dogs and pizza. Try a Mayan tortilla wrap, for example, filled with chicken breast marinated in annatto sauce, refried beans, guacamole, gouda cheese, corn pico de gallo and chipotle mayonnaise or a seafood ceviche: marinated fish, octopus and shrimps, seasoned with lime juice, tomato, onion and cilantro scented with garlic.
Brio Health Bar

Pause over a healthy drink or snack at this café which is set within the Brio Spa and Fitness Centre. Choose a fresh juice, smoothie or milkshake. Try the Asian noodle salad, with red, yellow and green bell pepper, celery, soya bean sprouts, black sesame seeds, and chicken breast marinated in teriyaki sauce. Sit down to a balsamic chicken sandwich, with cumin bread, basil mayonnaise, chicken breast marinated in balsamic vinegar, roasted peppers, sun dried tomato, spinach and goats’ cheese.
Del Lago Restaurante

Make your way to Del Lago Restaurante to relax beside the lake and enjoy the glorious gardens around it when you dine either inside or out. Marvel at the breakfast buffet in the restaurant, which includes everything from fresh fruit and baked crusty bread, to sizzling crêpes and omelettes. Try the northern eggs here, which are scrambled with machaca and accompanied with refried beans, guacamole, salsa, and flour tortillas. Themed dinner menus are offered on certain nights here as well.
Frida’s

As day turns to evening, find Balché becomes Frida’s. This exceptional eatery is an authentic Mexican cantina serving a riot of exciting dishes. Customise your own tacos from a spectrum of savoury ingredients, including grilled meats, fresh vegetables and salsas. Also try the wood oven tlayudas and enchiladas, including the mole enchilada, made with sautéed chicken and covered with block oaxaca mole (a sauce made with chilli pepper, chocolate and spices) garnished with cream, sesame seeds, aged cheese and onions.
Green Break

A golfer’s delight, this is the perfect place to set yourself up for the day before a round or two on the course or to wind down after an exciting session. Enjoy a range of breakfast dishes, from yoghurt served with honey and granola to country style ranchero eggs: two fried eggs on a corn tortilla served with spicy tomato sauce and refried beans, along with bacon or sausage. For lunch tuck into a tasty hamburger, club sandwich or panini.
Havana Moon

Gaze out across the Caribbean Sea from Havana Moon. This idyllic restaurant combines a stunning setting with delicious dishes and tropical drinks. There is also often Caribbean music and an amazing fire show. Try appetisers such as rib eye skewers with mushrooms, pineapple, onion, peppers, marinated in chipotle teriyaki sauce, served on a bed of lettuce and wontons – and seafood including red curry with shrimp, octopus, calamari, grouper and lobster, as well as mushrooms, sweet potato, bamboo shoots and pineapple.
Jade Deli and Crêperie

Stop for something wonderful to keep you going while you are shopping at Jade Boutique. At this deli and creperie you will find a magnificent array of mouth-watering snacks and tasty temptations. Tuck into a slice of something sweet or savoury; look out for cakes, tarts, pastries and other delicious delights. Try a flavoured crêpe or a sandwich such as the hot panini served on fresh country ciabatta bread and finished with chorizo, oaxaca cheese, black beans, and avocado.
La Cantina

This is the place to stop when you are out and about exploring the Riviera Maya. Tucked within the scenic Salum market area and beachside eateries, this is the place to relax over a choice of fabulous drinks and traditional dishes, made with local ingredients. The interesting menu here offers everything from sizzling hot tacos and tasty enchiladas to grilled fresh fish and classic Mexican tres leches cakes. Enjoy the unique décor, with its bright, ceramic tiles and colourful woodwork.
Limón y Sal

Lovers of fine seafood dishes will not be disappointed by the fabulous Limón y Sal. This enticing al fresco restaurant, which does also have air conditioning, serves a range of exquisite dishes all created with the very best ingredients. Find lobster tacos, seafood burritos and a wide selection of ceviches made with fresh fish or shrimp and marinated in lime juice and spices. Try the catch of the day, fresh oysters in different sauces, crispy calamari or soft shell crab.
Tacos Break

For sensational flavours of Mexico in a relaxing environment, Tacos Break is the perfect place to dine. Here you can enjoy all manner of dishes from tasty tacos, quesadillas and volcanes to tortas and frijoles charros. Try Los Alalmbres, prepared with roasted peppers, poblano and a touch of bacon, or the black bean soup, with chorizo sausage, bacon, guajillo pepper, pork rinds and scented with epazote. Vegetarians will relish tacos de hongos, sautéed mushroom tacos that are scented with epazote.
Salum

Head to Salum village for a vibrant selection of cafés, bars, restaurants and street food stands. Try the charcuterie at Aloreña Tablas and Tapas; Mediterranean snacks at Fuoco; craft beers at Huama Cervecería and churros within the Mercado México. Order fresh coffee and pastries at Santo Gusto Pan and Café, a cocktail at Saúde Mixology Bar, a Japanese dish at Robayaki Grill and Sushi and something delicious to sip at Waves n’ Tacos Auténtica Taquería or La Sombrita Beach Bar.
The Wine Bar

Enjoy every moment of your honeymoon and take time out to enjoy some special time over a cool drink or fine wine. The Wine Bar nestles between the Riviera Maya restaurants of Gong and Tramonto. Make your way here to choose from a range of drinks including appetizers from either restaurant.
