Overview

The delightful Hotel G was originally built in 1909 when it was called the Fielding Hotel. In 2014 it was completely restored and its historic features preserved. It re-opened as a stylish boutique hotel with gorgeous rooms and is the perfect calming oasis in the heart of this vibrant city.

Room Types

The 153 rooms and suites at Hotel G San Francisco are light, bright and comfortable with carpet throughout and black out shades to ensure a good nights sleep. The focus of the room is the over large quilted headboard and attractive light wood furniture and the clever use of sensual fabrics to enhance the minimalist design. There are comfortable chairs, a 46” flat screen Smart TV, Nespresso machine and Honour Bar. The stylish bathrooms are spacious with a walk in shower and marble trims. Gowns and toiletries are provided. Microwaves and bathroom slippers are amongst the items available on request. There is unlimited Wi Fi and all rooms are air-conditioned for a comfortable honeymoon in San Francisco.

Good Queen

This smartly decorated room is very comfortable with a Queen Size bed to stretch out on and comfortable chairs plus a writing desk. The elegant bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Accessible Good Queen

With plenty of space around the furniture for wheelchairs, this attractive ADA room is perfect for travellers with special needs. There are hearing impaired light alerts, portable equipment available from the hotel, multi level door viewers and easily accessible power outlets to help make your time in San Francisco truly relaxing. This room category is also available as an Accessible Good King, Accessible Great King and Accessible Greatest King and if twin beds are preferred the lovely Accessible Greater Double is fitted with two double beds.
Good & Great King

Comfortable and ideal for a couple who want to enjoy some relaxing time after exploring the city. There are comfortable chairs and a beautiful king size bed. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower.
Greatest King

This attractive room has the bonus of a large separate living area with sofa, armchairs and writing desk. Many of the rooms also have a double aspect with two large windows making them extra bright. The floor has large rugs rather than carpeting and there is a beautiful king size bed and a large marble bathroom with shower.
G Terrace Suite

This stunning suite is perfect for honeymooners and guests are welcomed with a bottle of Champagne. Contemporarily designed with wooden flooring and dark grey wood furniture. The suite is stylish and modern with 46” flat screen Smart TV, comfortable seating in front of a fireplace and mural-decorated walls by a local artist and there are leafy houseplants to decorate. There is a beautiful Kashmir leather king size bed and generously sized bathroom with shower. The beautiful terrace deck has views of the city and bay and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of Champagne together, sitting snuggled around the fire pit. This suite has a voice activated Concierge service. Please note that the hotel lifts do not reach these suites and guests must complete their ascent using the staircase from the 12th floor.
Grande Penthouse Suite

This stylish and spacious suite (111 sq m) definitely has luxury in mind. The living and bedroom areas are divided by eye-catching woodwork. In the living area there is a stylish marble dining suite and a comfortable sofa and armchairs, plus occasional tables and writing desk with houseplants and fresh flowers. The Kashmir leather king size bed is stunning and the beautiful bathroom is generously sized with a walk-in shower. There is a large private terrace with deck furniture and a stunning view of the bay - what better than to share the complimentary bottle of Champagne together as you watch the sun set? Please note that the hotel lifts do not reach to the Grande Penthouse Suite but there is a staircase from the 12th floor.

Facilities

Situated just one block, which is about two minutes walk from Union Square means that the hotel is really well placed for easy access to the cable car lines, theatres (including the Curran and Geary), art galleries and some really excellent restaurants.

Restaurants

The Hotel G does not have its own restaurant but it has an excellent oyster bar. There is a second bar serving really good cups of coffee all day long. For those who enjoy working out the hotel's Techno Gym is open 24/7.
