The InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel has recently been ambitiously renovated and it shows! Its guest rooms and suites are classically decorated and are both elegant and comfortable.

Room Types

Carpeted throughout, with large windows and great views of New York's iconic skyline, rooms at InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel are adorned with soft tones of grey and highlights in gold or scarlet. There is dark wood furniture with a king size bed, comfortable armchairs, 42” LED flat screen cable TV, iPod docking station and DVD. There is a small fridge and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is smart and elegant with walk in twin headed shower or bathtub and gowns and toiletries are provided. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. A fresh cut flowers are used to decorate each room adding a fresh scent and ambience to your stay in the heart of New York.

Superior Room

This stylish room (24 sq m) in shades of grey, gold and white has a comfortable king size bed, armchairs and coffee table, making it ideal for 'down time' together amidst all the sightseeing! The elegant bathroom has a walk in shower with dual heads.
Deluxe Room

This lovely 26 sq m room has grey and gold soft furnishings including two armchairs and a coffee table and classic pieces of timeless dark wood furniture. There is a comfortable king size bed and the walls are decorated with pieces of local art that trace the hotel's long history. In the bathroom there is a walk in shower and the walls are decorated with subway titles decorating the walls that are reminiscent of the 1920s.
Premier Room

In beautiful shades of grey and crisp white, this elegant room (28 sq m) is very restful. There are comfortable chairs and a fireplace and the walls are decorated with locally painted murals. There is a king size bed and in the bathroom there is a dual headed shower (fixed and hand shower).
Executive King Room

With 28m² of floor space, this room is very comfortable for two. There are comfortable armchairs, coffee table and writing desk and a spacious bedroom area and the walls are decorated with pieces of regional art. The en suite bathroom is elegantly furnished with either a bathtub or walk-in shower with dual heads.
Barclay Room

This attractive room has a floor size of 26 sq m plus and is beautifully furnished in soft shades of brown and white. There are comfortable chairs and a table, a beautiful king size bed and elegant bathroom with dual headed shower and decorative subway titles reminiscent of the 1920s.
One Bedroom Deluxe Suite

Elegant and spacious, this lovely 47m² suite has a separate living room with sofa, armchairs, writing desk and private bar. There are fantastic cityscape views to enjoy and interesting local artwork decorates the walls. The lovely bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and soft chairs with an en suite with walk-in double-headed shower.
One Bedroom Executive Suite

Offering guests truly luxurious accommodation, this beautiful suite (102 sq m) has custom made furniture with a timeless elegance that invoked a feeling of warmth and comfort. In the living area there is a 55” LED TV and there is a coffee service. There is a comfortable king size bed and the marble bathroom is beautifully stylish and toiletries featuring the Barclay's own fragrance are provided.

The Gin Parlour

Beautifully decorated to capture the atmosphere of an English or Dutch 1920s Gin Bar, the Gin Parlour has a countless array of different gins for guests to sample as well as other drinks and spirits. The gins are perfectly paired with the Tapas style menu and all the dishes are made using local organically grown ingredients.
