Overview

The Lexington Hotel is part of the Autograph Collection and is a stylish hotel that has been welcoming guests since it opened in 1929. With terracotta figurines decorating one of its sides that remind visitors of Notre Dame, a gorgeous marble foyer and a warm welcome and beautifully preserved brass elevator doors, the Lexington is the perfect base for a New York honeymoons.

If you love jazz, this is definitely the hotel for you! The rooms and suites all have a jazz theme and the walls are decorated with some excellent photos recording the prime jazz years. The hotel also has six themed suites that are all linked to jazz legends.

Room Types

The rooms have all been modernized and offer guests really comfortable accommodation with an Art Deco design with sophistication – the perfect place to relax in the Big Apple. There is carpet throughout, dark wooden furniture a 42” flat screen smart TV with cable channels and Netflix, Hulu, Crackle and Pandora. The beds are comfortable with quality linen and the roman windows are fitted with blackout shades for a good night's sleep. The gorgeous grey marble bathrooms have a bath, separate shower and electric mirrors. Bathrobes and amenities are provided. There is complimentary Wi Fi throughout and air conditioning.

Deluxe Queen Room

Offering 160 sq ft of living space, these rooms offer complimentary business services and modern comforts such as a queen bed and marble bathroom with shower and tub combination and hair dryer. Amenities include an alarm clock, in-room safe, TV, iPod dock, Netflix, Chromecast, premium movie channels and writing desk.
Standard King Room

Relax in the 190 sq ft Deluxe room with king bed and a marble bathroom with shower and tub combination and hair dryer. Amenities include an alarm clock, in-room safe, TV, iPod dock, Netflix, Chromecast, premium movie channels and writing desk.
Deluxe King Room

These inviting rooms are adorned with stylish décor with photo framed artwork and cosy furnishings. Each room has a king bed and marble bathroom with hair dryer. Amenities include an alarm clock, in-room safe, TV, iPod dock and writing desk.
Studio

Occupying up to 3 guests, these spacious studios offer a stylish base in which to explore New York City, each Studio has a king size bed and there are 2 bathrooms for added comfort. Deluxe 2 Double Rooms

These super spacious rooms offer 225 sq ft of living space with complimentary business services, 2 double beds and a marble bathroom with shower and tub combination. Connecting rooms are available. Junior Suite

1 Bedroom Suite

The Conservatory

With 530 sq ft of living space, the one-of-a-kind Conservatory suite features a glass-enclosed living room, spacious bedroom, queen bed, sofa bed and marble bathroom. Hemingway Suite

These 1 bedroom suites feature 416 sq ft of living space and boasts of 2 private terraces. Exclusive furnishes include a collection of Hemingway’s novels and a vintage typewriter. Arthur Godfrey Suite

These 600 sq ft suites pays tribute to Arthur Godfrey with authentic style adorned throughout to exude the legendary radio and TV host. The retro bar and full dining room with lounge is a lively place to relax with friends and the bedroom features plush furnishings and a king bed. Amenities include a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities.
The Norma Jeane Suite

Enjoy a relaxing city break in these 600 sq ft suites, which honours Marilyn Monire and feature Hollywood glam interiors. The stylish bedroom features a king bed and the separate living area offers a place for dining. Enjoy the New York air from your outdoor terrace. Amenities include a microwave, mini-refrigerator and coffee/tea making facilities.
Lady Ella Suite

Styled with inspiration from Ella Fitzgerald, these glamorous suites feature a wealth of luxury living spaces, from the living and dining area to the walk-in closet, outdoor balcony and marble bathroom with oversized bathroom. There is a separate bathroom with shower/tub combination. There are 2 bedrooms; one with king bed and 1 with queen bed.

Facilities

The Lexington Hotel’s main facility is its tremendous location. Situated just 700metres from the Grand Central Station and 300 metres from the 51st street subway, getting around the Big Apple couldn't be easier! Lexington is surrounded by great nightlife, fine dining, live musical productions and cultural institutions. Central Park is within walking distance but the perfect way to explore it is on a hired bike. The Fifth Avenue shops will prove irresistible! Why not check out a play on Broadway or one of the huge music events at Madison Square Garden?

When you want to just relax and take some time in the hotel's fitness centre you will be impressed. There are two large screen TVs as well as individual TVs on the cardio machines and a great choice of music available too.

Restaurants

With so many excellent restaurants in the vicinity, the Lexington does not have a restaurant but does have its own Starbucks for great coffees and good snacks throughout the day.

Enjoy a relaxing drink at The Stayton Room, which celebrates Captain William Stayton. On the menu there are craft cocktails to choose from before heading out the lively streets of New York to begin your evening in style.
