Room Types

There are 112 charming villas spread across the resort’s 10 lush hectares. They are divided into 4 luxurious categories and each one features a rustic thatched roof, soft furnishings constructed of natural materials, and a private sundeck where you can kick back and relax with a drink while savouring nature’s splendour.

Beach Villas

The 128sqm Beach Villas are situated right on the sugar-white sands, nestled among sea cabbage and hibiscus. They offer a choice of a king-size four-poster bed or twin beds and also include outdoor rain showers, sun loungers, a satellite TV and CD player. Semi-detached Beach Villas are available if you would prefer this option.
Beach Villa Suite

196 sq. m Beach Villa Suites offer two bedrooms and more space so are perhaps more suitable for families or groups of friends but honeymooners are sure to love the overwater Water Villas which can provide either sunrise or sunset views through the floor-to-ceiling windows in each bedroom. These villas also afford you direct lagoon access via your private sundeck, and they come with an espresso machine so you can enjoy an invigorating cup of coffee while drinking in the spectacular vistas before you.
Semi-Detached Beach Villa

Set upon the lush powder-white beach, these spacious villas offer a haven of privacy, decorated with romantic interiors with added Maldivian charm. Enjoy facilities in the semi-detached beach villa such as air conditioning, mini bar, bathroom with outdoor shower, satellite TV, hair dryer, CD player, tea and coffee making facilities and sun loungers.
Water Villa

Featuring floor to ceiling windows, the spacious water villa is a sanctuary poised over the alluring lagoon where the beautiful Ocean can be adored from inside or outside of the water villa. Step outside onto the private sundeck sun loungers and seating area to truly enjoy paradise in pure privacy. If you fancy a cooling down, you’ll have direct access to the cool lagoon.
Lagoon Suite

These stylish 69 sqm hideaways are constructed over the ocean and are accessed by private dhoni, which is available around the clock to take you to your suite and back to the island. Meals can be delivered upon request and amenities include an outdoor rain shower, bathroom with separate bath and rain shower, TV, sun deck and loungers.

Facilities

A romantic afternoon activity consists of arranging a sensual massage or revitalizing facial at the overwater spa pavilion. This oasis of healing and tranquillity offers such decadent treatments as the signature Medhufushi Fusion massage, an Ayurvedic-inspired Knowledge of Life treatment and a Romantic Rendezvous which includes a glass of sparkling wine each.

If you are in the mood for adventure during your stay at the resort, be sure to take advantage of the Werner Lau Diving Centre which offers both morning and night dives as well as full-day or half-day excursions. Meanwhile the Deep Blue Water Sports Centre lets you try everything from windsurfing, knee-boarding and canoeing to catamaran sailing and jet-skiing, and the resort offers a variety of unforgettable excursions including deep sea fishing and dolphin-watching - or you can simply don your bathing suit and take a refreshing dip in the hotel’s pristine infinity pool.

Restaurants

There are 2 excellent restaurants and a bar at Medhufushi, as well as a selection of gourmet menus for private dinners, which can be savoured in the location of your choice.

Alfresco Restaurant

Head to the overwater Alfresco Restaurant for delectable a la carte dishes and a selection of wines and other beverages, paired with breath-taking views of the lagoon and the sunset, and cooled by the breezes off the ocean.
Malaafaiy

Alternatively make your way to Malaafaiy, meaning ‘mermaid’ in Dhivehi, and indulge in resplendent buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners while gazing out over the pool and the sparkling lagoon. The food on offer consists of an impressive variety of international dishes.
Vilu Bar

Drinks and snacks can be enjoyed at Vihu Bar, a relaxed watering hole where you can also play darts and billiards, or curl up with a good book. Special activities, including Maldivian drumming and crab racing, are held here.
