Room Types

The Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur is appropriately named and the hotel's modern colonial décor includes some beautiful Neo Classical features which give it a classic elegance and ambience. The hotel has several different wings including the original Majestic Wing, which is purely for couples and the Tower Wing which is new. The rooms and suites are attractive and comfortable, coloured in calming shades of beige, brown and gold. There is a kingsize bed and sofas and armchairs, a flat screen satellite TV, kettle and mini bar. The bathrooms are stylish and have a bath tub and shower, plus gowns, slippers and complimentary toiletries. There is air conditioning and Wi-Fi throughout. Guests who stay in the Majestic wing rooms and suites get to use the Majestic club facilities including a 24 hour personalised butler service which is rather special for honeymooners and they all have beautiful flowers as part of their decoration and a complimentary daily paper.

Straits room (Majestic wing)

This attractive room has 31 sq m of floor area and has warm neutral tones and a wooden floor with rugs. It is situated on the Club level as its guests enjoy Club Privileges which include a separate check-in desk. There is a comfortable king size bed and chairs and the bathroom has a stylish classically shaped bath tub with hand shower. Guests in this room enjoy a personalised butler service, in room breakfast and an unlimited laundry service.
Colonial Suite (Majestic wing)

This elegant colonially styled suite is situated in the Majestic Wing of the hotel on the Club Level as guests can enjoy Club Privileges which include a separate check-in desk. The room has 40 sq m of floor area and a wonderful panoramic view of the city skyline. There is a king size bed, separate living room with sofa and armchairs and atmospheric lighting that makes it very cosy. The beautiful bathroom has a classically styled bath tub with hand shower. Deluxe Room (Tower Wing)

Situated in the Tower Wing of the hotel, this room has attractive views of the city skyline and heritage sites or of the hotel garden. This room is both spacious (40 sq m) and stylish and is carpeted throughout. There is a four poster king size bed and in the beautiful bathroom there are twin vanity basins, a classically styled free-standing bath and a separate shower in the glass enclosed bathroom.
Junior Suite (Tower Wing)

Very stylish, very comfortable and very private, this lovely suite (56 sq m) is situated in the Tower Wing and commands views of the hotel gardens and swimming pool. It is beautifully carpeted throughout and the soft furnishings are in pale relaxing tones with highlights of blue. The glass enclosed bathroom has a delightful freestanding bath tub and separate walk in shower cubicle.
Grand suite (Tower Wing)

Grand by name and nature, this beautiful suite is so spacious and very luxurious (77 sq m). Situated in the Tower Wing, there are stunning cityscapes to enjoy from the picture windows. There is a beautiful separate living area with comfortable seating, coffee table and desk and the bathroom is stylish and is enclosed by glass.
Premier Suite (Tower Wing)

This palatial suite has a floor area of 92 sqm and stunning views over the city and its heritage sites. Situated in the Tower Wing, this really is an idyllic retreat with a separate living room with sofa, armchairs and dining table and a clock room. There is a beautiful bedroom area with king size four poster bed and a stylish glass encased bathroom with freestanding bath and walk in shower.

There is plenty to tempt you away from this tranquil oasis as the Hotel Majestic is well placed for sightseeing. The hotel is close to Masjid Negara, the Islamic Arts Museum and the Dayabumi complex. The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park and Orchid Garden are both within easy access too. Located in the Majestic Wing, this attractive restaurant has a popular menu featuring authentic classical cuisine from the colonial era.
The Orchid Conservatory

Wonderful international dishes are served in this delightful restaurant which has an amazing display of different orchids. The Orchid Conservatory is open for both lunch and dinner and mid-afternoon, where you can enjoy a really delicious and traditional high afternoon tea.
The Smokehouse

This restaurant is situated in the old part of the hotel and has the congenial atmosphere of a club. It is open in the evening and delights guests with the high quality of its international cuisine. It offers an elegant private dining room which comes with your own personal Chef too.
The Tea Lounge
