Room Types

The 235 rooms and suites at The Peninsula have been designed with ultimate comfort in mind. They are all beautifully decorated in a restful palette of cream, gold and soft greys with carpet and air conditioning throughout, comfortable furnishings and top quality bed linen. All windows are double-glazed and a nice touch is the decorative vases of fresh flowers. In the living area, which has soft chairs there is a LED TV with cable channels and on-demand movies, a DVD and iPod dock. There is a coffee machine and mini fridge. The stylish marble bathrooms are spacious and many have both walk-in showers and deep bathtubs. Gowns and toiletries are provided. There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout.

Superior Room

Offering 34 square metres of floor area and large double glazed windows, the Superior Room is attractive and has views over the hotel courtyard. This room is situated of floors 4-20 and in the living area has an over-sized writing desk. The room is equipped with a printer, scanner and Fax – just in case you need such things on your honeymoon. There is a comfortable king size bed and the beautiful bathroom has both bathtub and separate shower.
Deluxe Room

This room is more spacious (41 sq m) and has large windows with either a courtyard or cityscape view. Stylishly decorated and extremely comfortable, there are comfortable chairs in the living room and the elegant bathroom has both bathtub and walk in shower and there is a choice of 'mood' lighting.
Grand Luxe Room

What a view! The large windows in this room overlook Fifth Avenue or 55 Street. Grand Luxe Rooms are located on floors 4-20. These spacious rooms (45 sq m) are perfect for relaxation after a busy day sight seeing, the comfortable living area has a 46” LED. There is a beautiful king size bed and the elegant marble bathroom has both a bathtub and walk in shower.
Junior Executive Suite

This delightful suite has interior views and 58 sq m of floor area and is situated on floors 4-12. The living room has a 46” LED TV and there is a second one in the stylish master bedroom. The beautiful marble bathroom has both a bathtub and walk-in shower and is also fitted with a smaller sized TV.
Junior Suite

This elegant corner suite has dual aspect, which is fabulous as it overlooks Fifth Avenue! With 53 sq m, this room has been designed as a studio to maximise on the floor area. There is a comfortable living area with armchairs and coffee table, a king size bed and attractive marble bathroom.
Executive Suite

If you are seeking calm and tranquility on your honeymoon, this is the perfect suite for you both. Situated on floors 14- 20 of the hotel with westward cityscape views and 67 sq m floor area, this stylish suite is perfect for those seeking comfort and who appreciate luxury. This really is a 'home from home' with beautiful furnishings and an array of quality ornaments. The living room is very comfortable with sofa, armchairs and coffee table with a 46” LCD TV. Deluxe Suite

With great views of Fifth Avenue this luxurious one bedroom corner suite (98 sq m) is really comfortable. The generously sized living room has sofa, armchairs and coffee table and its focus is a décor fireplace. There is a stylish separate dining room. The beautiful bedroom has a king size bed and two generously sized walk in closets. The marble bathroom has dual vanity basins plus a walk in shower and bathtub and there is an additional cloakroom.
Grand Suite

Situated on the 20th floor of the hotel and with stunning views of Fifth Avenue and Central Park beyond, this opulent suite has 151 sq m of floor space for you both to enjoy on your New York honeymoon. The living room is elegant with a décor fireplace, sofa, armchairs and 55” LED TV. There is a separate dining room that seats eight people. The luxurious bedroom has a king size bed and two walk-in closets, while the marble bathroom is lavish with double vanities and a lovely big soaking tub and there is a TV to enjoy whilst you relax! The suite is tastefully decorated with wall paintings and quality ornaments to give it a cosy feeling.
Fifth Avenue Suite

Beautifully relaxing in shades of dove grey and cream, this newly unveiled expansive suite (235 sq m) is situated on the 17th floor with dazzling views of Fifth Avenue. The living area is spacious with an L-shaped sofa, armchairs and coffee table. There is a separate dining room, kitchen and study and the majestic master bedroom has a king size bed and dressing room. Each of the rooms is tastefully decorated with handcrafted touches by world-renowned artisans. Guests in this room enjoy complimentary transfer to and from the airport.
Peninsula Suite

This is the ultimate premier accommodation in the whole of New York! The suite is luxuriously decorated and furnished and although it has two bedrooms, it is so stylish that it is the ultimate choice for a honeymoon in New York. With stunning views of Fifth Avenue, this dual aspect and palatial suite has 307 sq m of floor space and six beautiful rooms all luxuriously furnished and decorated with pieces of contemporary art and fresh flowers. There is an elegant living room with 80” LCD TV and a baby grand piano, a separate dining room, kitchen and study. There Is a master bedroom with king size bed with hand stitched Savoir mattress and a choice of fine bed linens and a stunning dressing table crafted in basalt black marble. There is a second bedroom with twin beds and two stylish marble bathrooms. Guests in this suite enjoy complimentary transfer between the airport and the hotel.

Facilities

The Peninsula's main facility is its address as it is right in the middle of Manhattan and right in the middle of Fifth Avenue. The hotel is close to the cluster of best department stores and restaurants. The Rockefeller Centre and Central Park are both 500 metres away and all the Broadway theatres including the Gershwin Theatre and the Winter Gardens are all within easy reach.

The bars and restaurant at The Peninsula New York have an attractive modern elegance and are the perfect place to relax. The hotel's signature restaurant is The Clement which has an excellent reputation in the city. If you would prefer to dine in the privacy of your room/suite there is an excellent menu of international dishes for you to choose from.

The Clement

This stylish restaurant is divided into three separate rooms to exude the feel of an American home. The Clement is open throughout the day serving breakfast, lunch, cocktails and then dinner. Before dinner, enjoy an aperitif in the adjoining Clement Bar. The menu in the Clement is classic American and dishes are cooked to perfection and served with panache. The meal not to miss is the Sunday morning three-course brunch.
The Gothan Bar
