Home to many historical and colonial sites, Philadelphia played an integral role in the founding of America. In more recent times, it has undergone a cultural renaissance and is full of museums, restaurants, art and attractions. Before you depart for Lancaster County, home of the Amish community, visit the famous “Rocky Steps”. The Amish, who are known for their simple living, are a group of traditionalist Christian fellowships.
Once you have had lunch at the Amish Marketplace, you will take an Amish buggy ride through the farm country. As you ride through the farm country, you will learn about how they live without the benefit of modern technology. Then, visit an Amish homestead, where you will experience their lifestyle and schooling.

This tour operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays all year round and it lasts between 13 and 14 hours. It begins at 7:00am and departs close to Times Square. However, hotel pick up and drop off is not included within this tour so you must make your own way to the departure point.
