When is the best time to visit Barbados to snorkel?
Barbados is a Caribbean Island and they tend to have high temperatures all year round. It tends to have a dry season and a wet season. The wet season lasts from June through to November, in this period the weather fluctuates around the 30 degree mark. There is then the dry season running from December through to May. The best time to snorkel in this paradise island is probably from February to July although there is no special time as water visibility is between 40 to 70 feet all year round with calm clear turquoise waters. You don’t need to go far to spot Leatherback sea turtles and other forms of underwater marine life too.
How long is the tour for?
This tour option includes a half day 3 hour or a full day 5 hour tour including lunch. You get to relax on the comfortable and spacious luxury catamaran and swim with sea turtles and snorkel over the natural reef and shallow shipwreck. This Snorkelling in Barbados tour is suited to everyone whether you are a beginner or advanced swimmer however floats are provided if you can not swim.
What items do we need to take on this tour?
All you need is a change of clothes, a swimsuit and towel, some money for any personal expenses, a camera, insect repellent, and wet shoes (If you have them). What is included in the tour?
On this exciting tour, you will be pleased to know unlimited drinks featuring Barbados rum punch and a light breakfast are served, as well as a delicious lunch on the five-hour cruise. Guests can bring their own snorkelling equipment but the tour does provide it if you do not own one. You do not need to worry about getting to the tour as hotel pick ups and drop offs are included from selected hotels only.
